1 Day Workshop - Attend for the first time or as a refresher.
Ideal for those new to canine first aid or those who have taken the assessment over 3 years ago.
Jo will cover: recognizing problems, decision making, bandaging, restraint, giving Medication, taking samples, first aid kits, and more—plus we will cover the training/preparation of dogs to make treatment easier and less stressful.
Assessment and certificate of competence at the end of the workshop
Jo's Qualifications:
Degree level in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling (Post Graduate Cert CABC)
Qualified to degree level in Applied Animal Behaviour (CAAB)
Tellington TTouch Training Practitioner (P2 for all Companion Animals & P1 for Equines)
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and Pet Health Counsellor (PHC)
Member of the British Veterinary Nursing Association (MBVNA)
Qualified Lecturer (Certificate in Education)
Full Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT no.00878)
Kennel Club Listed for the KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Approved Examiner (Examiner for Bronze, Silver and Gold Award levels)
